WANT TO PITCH?
The Little Black Deal Book
Following great interest in pitching at last year’s event, we’ve decided to create a ‘Little Black Deal Book’ for investors attending Good Deals 2010.
The deal book is an opportunity for social businesses needing an injection of capital to raise funds to achieve social as well as financial returns, to get their pitch in front of potential investors.
In addition, the best pitches will be invited to take part in a series of live Good Deals pitches during the course of the conference.
Selected pitchers will have ten minutes to make the case for investment in their social business to a number of investors in a live pitch. Their pitch will be put to the test and they will receive direct feedback from investors on how to improve their chances of investment. You never know, they might even broker a deal at the conference.
If you’d like to submit a pitch send us an email to good-deals@socialenterpriselive.com, along with the following detail:
- A short description of your business
- The level of investment you require
- The type of finance you require
- Your predicted social and financial returns
- How you plan to measure the social return on investment
There is a 250 word limit and entries should be submitted with a high resolution jpg of your organisation’s logo, or an image representing your business, along with your website address and contact details. The deadline is Friday 1 October 2010.
